Bio-Vet Inc. Shipping Policy
Order Placement, Product Lead Times, Shipping Policy and Freight (shipping) Charges
1.0 Orders may be placed online.  Telephone orders may be placed by calling 800-246-8381 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Central Time.  Orders may be placed via email at bvorders@bio-vet.com. Orders may be faxed to 608-924-7006. Orders received after 12:00 p.m. Central time may be processed the next business day. 

2.0 Once orders are processed into our computer system, they are not eligible to be changed or “added to”. If you place an order subsequent to one that has recently been processed, it will be considered a new order. Such orders may be shipped separately or combined for shipment with direction from the customer. 

3.0 Orders must be received ten (10) business days prior to the anticipated shipping date. Lead time before shipping assures orders are received on time and facilitates production planning. Actual lead time depends on many factors including order size, product availability, manufacturing times and ingredient availability. Major selling products are usually available in stock and may have shorter shipping lead times. Minor selling products may be produced just prior to shipping. Stocked products that are immediately available will usually be shipped earlier than the stated lead time. Special orders, custom products and international orders may require longer lead times than stated above due to custom manufacturing and labeling and / or generation of any related regulatory paperwork. Please allow an additional five (5) days for domestic shipping. Longer shipping times are generally applicable to international orders. 

4.0 Receiving and Shipping dock hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Central Time, Monday through Friday. Orders not shipped by 3:30 p.m. will be shipped the following business day. 

5.0 Shipping will occur via a package parcel service (e.g. UPS, Speed Dee) or via LTL common carrier (pallets). Freight costs are added to each order shipped. All product prices shown in the webstore are for full case orders.  Additional handling fee may apply for partial case orders.  All pricing is FOB (freight on board) Barneveld, WI. Please provide an accurate name, physical address, and telephone contact for each order. Minimum freight charge is $5.00. 

6.0 Orders fulfilled from Bio-Vet, Inc. company representative inventory or other Bio-Vet warehouses will be charged freight as if it was shipped from the Barneveld, WI location. The minimum freight charge for any delivery is $5.00. 

7.0 A packing slip is attached to the shipping container or shrink-wrapped pallet. The packing slip contains a list of products, their lot numbers, and the number of items in the shipment. Please review the packing slip and items on the pallet or in the container to assure accuracy and condition prior to signing the bill of lading. Once the bill of lading is signed the order is presumed to be received “in good condition and as shipped”.   Action is required if the Bio-Vet packaging tape is broken, damage, or non-existent on palleted items or damage is noted on not palleted items.  Note damaged, number of missing items and if the Bio-Vet packing tape has been disrupted on the delivery service paperwork.  Have driver sign with your comments.  If this information is not documented a claim cannot be filed.  Notify Bio-Vet Customer Service of the damage and specific items that are unsellable within 48 hours and attach proof of delivery and pictures of the damage.  Retain the items for claims evaluation by the freight company.  In the event of damage that is severe, reject the pallet or packages as damaged and notify Bio-Vet, Inc. at 800-246-8381 immediately.
